Maa Vaishno Devi In Katra
Vaishno Devi is one of India’s most revered temple in North India. Vaishno Devi known as Mata Rani, Trikuta, Amba and Vaishnavi is the embodiment of the “The Mother of Goddess. 3.Ardhkuwari – Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to have meditation in the Ardhkuwari for 9 months before beheading the demon Bhairavanth. Ardhkuwari acts as a stopover for the pilgrims on their journey up to the Bhavan. Ardhkuwari is also known as Garbagoon cave, the cave shape of resembles a mother’s womb. When Mata Vaishnavi killed Bhairavanth his head fly off into the valley while his body remained in the Ardhkuwari cave. 4.Dera Baba Banda – It is renowned for housing the ashes of Baba Banda Bahadur who was the commanding solider of Guru Gobind Singh’s army. Being one of the important religious centres in Kashmir. Gurudwara Dera Baba Banda attracts a huge number of pilgrims, especially during the three days Vaishakhi Mela.
